Liuxi Chen, PhD 陈柳西

Dr Liuxi Chen received her BS in Chemistry from University of Science and Technology of China (Hefei) in 2005, and her PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 2012 under the supervision of Professor David Russell. Her graduated research was focused on understanding the gas-phase confirmation of peptides and small proteins by ion mobility-mass spectrometry and molecular dynamic simulations. She joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a post-doc fellow and later Waters Corporation as a Senior Scientist, where she served as a subject matter expert for LC-MS peptide mapping. She joined Department of Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics at Genentech in 2017. She is now the sub group leader of non-oncology Development Bioanalysis Group. She published 15+ first and co-authors papers in a large diversity of journals, including Journal of the American Chemical Society, Analytical Chemistry, mAbs, Chemical Research in Toxicology and Bioanalysis.
