Welcome to the AOMSC & TSMS Annual Conference

　　We look forward to welcoming you to join the 4th Asia Oceania Mass Spectrometry Conference & 10th Taiwan Society for Mass Spectrometry Annual Conference (4th AOMSC & 10th TSMS Annual Conference), which will be held at Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) in Taipei on July 10-12. The conference will consist of 2 plenary lectures, three parallel oral sessions , over 50 invited lectures, workshops, and hundreds of poster. The panel will also honor awards to encourage potential young scientists.

　　The visitors can enjoy the famous scenes, historic spots, and Taiwan hospitality. We have more than 200 mountains and unique landscapes, including the Jade Mountain and the awesome Taroko Gorge. There are also many memorial halls and museums around the island, including the National Palace Museum that is listed as one of the five top museums in the world. We look forward to your participation at this conference.

　　On behalf of the local organizing committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to join “The 4th Asia Oceania Mass Spectrometry Conference (AOMSC) and The 10th Taiwan Society for Mass spectrometry (TSMS) Annual Conference“ to be held at the Taipei International Convention Center, Taipei, Taiwan, on July 10-12,2013. We aim to put together an exciting scientific program bridging traditional research fields of MS to various exciting applications, particularly in integrating various MS driven methodology into topics in sustainability science and human health.It will contain over 60 lectures, workshops, and hundreds of poster.The confirmed plenary lecturers include Prof. Yuan Tseh Lee fromTaiwan, the Nobel Laureate in chemistry, and Prof. Ruedi Aebersold from Switzerland, the inventor of ICAT for quantitative proteomics.We will also host an “Early Career Forum” and a “Young Scientist Forum” to bring in new blood of MS in Asia and Oceania countries.

　　To encourage the participation of young faculty members,a special session “Early Career Forum” will be hosted for lecturers selected from applicants within 5 years of assistant-professorship or equivalent position.AOMSC Young Scientist Forum(with Travel Awards) A pre-conference forum is designed for networking of young scientists, including Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, and research assistants with master degree or above. It will accommodate up to 50 participants selected from applications, including up to 25 travel awards for overseas participants. Every travel award includes financial support (NT$10,000) and a certificate.
